Corazón Ministries is a non-profit ministry focused on reaching the Lost for Christ. We reach, equip and send Hispanic and Latino peoples into the world for Christ. Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona the Ministry has operated for more than 30 years. The ministry is led by Mike Alameda, Executive Director.
Corazón Ministries celebrates thirty years of ministry this year. We’ve had the privilege of carrying out our mission to reach, equip, and send Hispanics and Latinos for Christ into the mission field for His glory. As we look ahead, we are committed to advancing His mission every day. As an encouragement for this anniversary year, I wanted to briefly share a couple of Scriptures that bolster the ministry and serve as our guide as we follow His will in Tucson and the United States.
We know that we were all accountable to the Lord and the great commission He gave us in his Word in Acts 1: 6-8:
“So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, ‘Lord, is it at
this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them, ‘It is not for
you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you
shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even
to the remotest part of the earth.’”
We understand that we are to advance His mission until He returns, as stated in Acts 1:9-11:
“And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
As believers in our generation, it is also clear that we must focus on personal and corporate missions to evangelize the world for Christ with commitment and faith. We know it is God’s command to do so. The Lord has put in our hearts to create a bilingual mission conference for the southwest region, Until He Returns: Advancing His Mission. The conference will be held
October 18-19, 2024, at Christ Community Church in Tucson, AZ.
We invite mission-minded believers and churches to join us in prayer, fellowship, food, and a vision for reaching the lost for Christ. This non-denominational event will highlight local, national and global ministries, and give an updated view of what God is doing worldwide. We will have a special time of praise and worship during a Pre-conference Worship Night. We will
give attendees the tools to share faith with other cultures through workshops offered by missionaries during the main conference and post-conference sessions. We will also have various mission agencies who are looking for individuals to join their mission to serve God.
