Dr. Jose Cruz: Keynote Speaker
Dr. Cruz has served as a lead pastor in Central America, Latin America coordinator for a non-profit organization, cross-cultural church planter (Middle East, El Salvador, US), and professor.
His areas of expertise are honor and shame cultures and the ministry relationships between East and West.
He is married to Betsy, who serves refugees at the Northwest Community Center for Refugees in Vickery Meadows, Dallas. They are the parents of Andrés and Camilla, married to Elijah Kost.

Alaa Salloum: Workshop Keynote
Alaa Salloum has been a Christian Alliance Institute of Theology professor since September 2023 and a Biblical Hebrew Grader/Tutor at Dallas Theological Seminary since January 2023. He has worked as an Academic Translator and Co-Teacher with the Christian Alliance Institute of Theology since September 2020. He also worked as a logistics manager for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Alaa has a BA in Theological and Biblical Studies from the Christian Alliance Institute of Theology and is working on his Masters at Dallas Theological Seminary.
