Rev. Huron Claus is the President of CHIEF, Inc. (Christian Hope Indian Eskimo Fellowship, Inc.) He is fifth generation Christian from the Mohawk/Kiowa tribes.
The vision of CHIEF is to see an effective Christian witness in every Native American tribe and all related tribes in this generation. Enrique Garcia
Enrique has been training in Christian Apologetics and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Guadalajara, Mexico. Claudio Valencia
Claudio Valencia is a Digital Strategist with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) and holds a Master’s in Leadership. He has been a missionary for 20 years, focusing on Campus Ministry, Digital Ministry, and Regional Leadership in LATAM. Claudio is happily married to Kelly and is “Papa” to Enzo, Max, and Tessie. Erwin Klingenberg
Erwin has been associated with Christ Community Church (CCC) since 1991, when CCC began supporting him and his wife Tina as missionaries. Erwin comes to CCC with a passion for discipling men, which was evident throughout his missionary career. He actively discipled both Kurdish and Iranian men who came to faith in Jesus, as well as provided pastoral care for other missionary workers. Learn More.
Bryan Thigpen
Bryan Thigpen works with The Navigators locally at the University of Arizona to minister and labor among the lost on campus. For the past 17 years Bryan and his family have served with The Navigators in Colorado, New Zealand, California, and Arizona. Jerry Gibson
A native of Texas, Jerry graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in theology and biblical studies. He has been involved in cross-cultural ministry for most of his life, going back to his earliest and most formative years serving with Native Peoples in South Dakota. Most recently, Jerry served as the senior director of missions and church planting at Park Cities Presbyterian in Dallas, where he helped develop the process for preparing new missionaries called “Thrive.”
Sam Yim
Sam Yim has served as a missionary with Christar since 1991. A native of Hong Kong, Sam completed his B.Th. at Evangel Seminary in Hong Kong, MDiv and ThM at Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary in Illinois, and his PhD at Biola University in California.
Colleen Yim
Colleen Yim has served as a missionary with Christar since 1991. She grew up in Michigan and, after becoming a believer at 21, attended and graduated from Moody Bible Institute. She received her MA in Linguistics from Northeastern Il. University and her PhD from Biola University.
Jim Brumme
Jim is currently the chairman of the mission committee at Catalina Foothills Church. For the past 23 years he has led Harvest Media Ministry, a missions organization specializing in the production of videos, websites and social media for faith based mission organizations. He is an ordained pastor, having also served as worship pastor, associate pastor and the missions pastor of several churches in the U.S. He is now retired and living in Tucson, Arizona.
Moses Saldivar
Moses is the Director of Engagement for US Latino Churches at Frontiers, a ministry that seeks to play a pivotal role in fulfilling the Great Commission by advancing discipleship and church planting among Muslim communities with limited or no access to the Gospel.
He is dedicated to engaging, equipping, and empowering stateside Latino churches, aiming to turn them into vital catalysts for these global missionary efforts.
