Corazón Ministries is celebrating 30 years of ministry in the United States. We’ve had the privilege of carrying out our mission to reach, equip, and send Hispanics and Latinos for Christ into the mission field for His glory. As we look ahead, we are entirely committed to advancing His mission daily.
I wanted to briefly share a couple of Scriptures that bolster this anniversary year in the ministry and serve as guides as we navigate with His will in Tucson and around the United States. Especially considering a mission conference later this year that will be a capstone to the 2024 year. We know that we were all accountable to the Lord and the great commission He gave us in his Word in Acts 1: 6-8:
“So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, ‘Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth’.”
We at also understand that we are to advance His mission until He returns, as discussed in Acts 1:9-11:
“And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into [a]the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
It is clear, as believers of our generation, that we must focus on our personal and corporate mission to evangelize the world for Christ with commitment and faith, knowing it is God’s command to do so. The Lord has put in our hearts here at Corazón Ministries to create a Southwest regional Bilingual Mission Conference: Until He Returns. The conference will be October 18-19, 2024, at Christ Community Church in Tucson, AZ
We invite mission-minded believers and churches to join us for prayer, fellowship, food, and a vision for reaching the lost for Christ in our world today. This non-denominational event will highlight local, national, and global ministries and give an updated view of what God is doing worldwide! We will have a special time of praise and worship during a Pre-conference Worship Night, and give tools to share our faith with other cultures through workshops given by current missionaries worldwide during the conference and post-conference sessions.
